We are looking for an experienced Millwright.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment.
Welding experience is a plus, as it can be a crucial aspect of the role.
Job
Responsibilities:
Install, dismantle, and relocate machinery and equipment as needed.
May perform tasks such as hooking up electronics, hydraulics, building a gearbox, etc.
Commissioning or decommissioning machines as needed Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify and implement effective solutions.
Utilize welding skills to perform repairs and fabrication when necessary.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within set timelines.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Document work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and equipment changes.
Skills and Education Requirements:
Proven experience as a Millwright in an industrial setting.
Highly skilled in building or tearing down and rebuilding mechanical components or assemblies Welding certification and hands-on experience with various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick, flux-core) is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with a variety of tools and equipment used in the trade.
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, especially during scheduled maintenance shutdowns.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent training is a plus.
Welding certification or relevant welding experience is a plus Pre-Employment Requirements:
